1. Prior to completion of the application, discuss your project with the Project Manager.
2. Complete and submit a SCPRIF Application (will be available soon through our website) and required attachments to DECD at the address listed below.
3. DECD will issue a letter of approval, denial with reasons, or if incomplete, note the deficiencies within 21 days of receipt of the complete application.
4. Once approved, DECD will request that an attorney be assigned to close the loan. All recipients of SCPRIF funds will be required to enter into a standard loan agreement with DECD. Funding typically occurs within 90 days from loan approval. DECD will pay for all closing costs for the Assistance Agreement (except the applicant’s attorney fees).
